The Luxury tented accommodation and all buildings are directly overlooking the Mara River which winds itself around the camp with gently flowing waters surrounded with wild life and teeming with large groups of Hippos.
Mara Plains Camp is a small, high quality, seven-roomed camp under canvas that is located within the private Olare Orok Conservancy (30,000 acres) and just a few hundred meters to the north of the Masai Mara National Reserve boundary. The camp has been designed and built to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

The Olumara is located within the Masai Mara Koiyaki Lemek conservation camp,which is a vast unexplored area. This camp is a photographer's paradise and great for both day and night game drives.Game seen around the camp include elephant,Butchells zebra,Masai giraffe,lesser kudu,Grant's gazelle,lions,cheetahs,rhinos,elands,rare honey badgers as well as the occasional visitor the leopard.
