OVERVIEW
Deep in the wild South of the spectacular Tarangire National Park, Oliver’s Camp may well be the bestkept secret for travelers seeking a real, intense bush experience. Famous for elephant and baobab trees, Tarangire offers these and much more: lion, cheetah and leopard compete for a wide range of mammals on the menu - all complimented by prolific birdlife. Oliver’s Camp offers
a variety of ways to venture into the wilderness: walking safaris inside the park, off and on-road driving plus lightweight fly camping. All of which are excellent ways to truly immerse oneself in the Tarangire, a park rich in wildlife and light on human traffic.
Having relocated several times during its long history, Oliver’s Camp has settled in what is no doubt the most spectacular location in the park. Overlooking a flood plain of the Minyonyo Pools, part of the Tarangire River, the camp has a spectacular view and easy access to a dense concentration of wildlife. Consisting of only eight beautifully appointed, spacious tents, intimacy is ensured. A world-class team of staff completes an experience that guests consistently rank amongst their best, and most
inspiring of all time.
