DAY ONE
You will be collected from your Nairobi by your Driver/Guide and depart on Safari. Drive north, climbing towards Nyeri,passing a mosaic of small farms on fertile hillsides. We cross the Equator and drive further north to your Samburu National Park accommodation for lunch. This is an area of wild and stark beauty with thorn scrub, volcanic rock and dramatic rocky mesas. Doum palms grow on the banks of the meandering Ewaso Nyiro River, which attracts the many wild animals of the region. The Samburu region is the home to many rare species of animals, such as the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the long-necked Gerenuk antelope. A rewarding afternoon’s game drive rounds off today.

DAY TWO
A full day in the Samburu region is yours to appreciate the wild beauty of this area and to enjoy an early morning and an afternoon game drive. Families of Elephant come to the river to drink, herds of long horned Oryx roam the plains and the Reticulated Giraffe with their dark markings browse among the acacia. Lions and Leopards can also be found.

DAY THREE
Today we drive southwards via Nyeri and a dramatic wooden lodge built deep within the forests of the Aberdare National Park / Mount Kenya foothills. A floodlit water hole and salt-lick in full view of the comfortable lounge areas allow guests to watch animals at any time of the night; Rhino, Lion, Elephant and Buffalo are regular visitors.
Mount Kenya Option - Arrive in time for Lunch take an optional forest walk or simply relax at this dramatic wooden lodge built deep within the forest. Comfortable lounge areas in full view of a floodlit waterhole and salt lick allows guests to view visiting animals at any time of night : - rhino, lion, elephant and buffalo are regular visitors.

Aberdares Option - Arrive in time for Lunch at the Aberdare Country Club. After Lunch transfer to this dramatic wooden lodge in full view of a floodlit waterhole and salt lick allows guests to view visiting animals at any time of night : - rhino, lion, elephant and buffalo are regular visitors.

DAY FOUR
This morning we drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, located down in The Great Rift Valley with a stop en-route at Thompson’s Falls. This park is best known for its flocks of pink Flamingoes, sometimes numbering over a million. The park is rich in other bird life and home to many other animals including a proliferation of Waterbuck and Warthogs. Lions and the ever-elusive Leopard abound and the park is also home to a White Rhino sanctuary.

DAY FIVE
Depart Nakuru after Breakfast and drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve via The Great Rift Valley and Narok. We will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or luxury tented camp. In the afternoon you have a game drive in this spectacular reserve, which is known for it’s superb game viewing and which sustains all of the ‘Big Five’ including the largest population of Lion in Kenya. Dinner and Overnight Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.

DAY SIX
Early morning and afternoon game drives allow you the chance to enjoy the interaction of wild animals in the magnificent park-like settings of the Masai Mara. As well as searching for the Big Five, you will see herds of plains game and spot many marvelous birds. The enormous landscape of the Mara and its concentration of many varieties of game, make it a fitting climax to your safari.

DAY SEVEN
Enjoy breakfast before driving back via The Great Rift Valley to arrive in Nairobi at approximately 13h00. Drop off at your Nairobi Hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for onward / return flight.
