Considered by many to be the finest accommodation on the East African Coast, the three private villas that make up Alfajiri overlook the Indian Ocean from an elevated position which ensures privacy and stunning views. Large verandas with huge hand carved sofas dominate the front of the villas and an infinity swimming pool sits on the edge of a small cliff merging into the sea and the horizon. Private dining is a la carte, served al fresco or in your villa -your choice, as too is the cuisine - fresh seafood is brought daily to order from the beach and includes some of the best crab, prawns, lobster, octopus and sea fish available. The food at Alfajiri Cliff Villa is very light with a Mediterranean influence. Oils, Parma ham and some cheeses are flown in weekly from Europe. The salads and fresh vegetables come daily from local farms and the fruit is handpicked from trees and bushes around Diani,all complimented by a choice of quality Chilean & South African wines.

Hididen away on an unspoilt Indian Ocean island, Funzi Keys is the perfect "escape in style” from the outside world. The 8 sea view Cottages have four poster beds with mosquito nets , 24 hour electricity, fans, safes, complimentary beach accessories ,coffee & tea making facilities, cool-boxes, hair driers, en suite facilities with showers & a veranda with sun loungers. The 9 deluxe seafront cottages have Jacuzzi baths in addition. Life at The Funzi Keys is relaxed and many guests do little more than unwind on the stone deck of the free-form pool with a drink while watching the local fishing dhows sail by. For more energetic guests it is possible to enjoy sailing, creekfishing, windsurfing and canoeing or perhaps take a boat trip up the Ramisi River or Funzi Creek for an unforgettable glimpse of kingfishers, crocodiles and even dolphins! It’s an excellent base for scuba diving and deep-sea fishing in the Pemba Channel.
